Abstract
Appropriate endodontic management is a crucial part of the entire dental treatment planning, and its main aims are the maintenance and rehabilitation of the healthiness and functionality of dental and periodontal tissues.
The evolution and development of certain endodontic clinical techniques and materials the last ten years have led to a great number of viable treatment options giving in this respect the opportunity to clinicians to choose the most appropriate one based on their final diagnosis for every single case. This is of utmost importance because the outcome of endodontic treatment has been shown to be directly related to the correct and accurate diagnosis of the cases.
The aim of the present presentation is to discuss and describe all the available bibliographic and clinical elements, through a representative case series, which will aid clinician to reach an appropriate decision-making process with regard to a sufficient endodontic management of the patient chief complaint.
