Dear Colleagues, Our next webinar is scheduled for Tuesday 18/10/2022 at 20:00. During this webinar our speaker, Endodontist Vanessa Chrepa will be covering the topic “Regenerative Endodontic Procedures: Clinical Protocol, Indications and Challenges”. This webinar is co-organized by the Hellenic Association of Endodontists and the Dental Association of Florina. Attendees will be credited 1,5 CE credits (MEEO) the Hellenic Association of Endodontists and 1,5 CPD Credit Hour. The language of the webinar will be Greek.

Abstract

Regenerative endodontic procedures are a viable and highly successful treatment for teeth with immature apices. These procedures lead to revitalization of a previously necrotic and infected pulp and result in continuation of root development in immature teeth. This webinar will present the most recent data on the success of this procedure and factors we need to keep in mind during treatment planning. A step-by-step process will be presented.

Vanessa Chrepa

Dr. Vanessa Chrepa was born and raised in Athens, Greece.

She received her DDS from University of Athens, School of Dentistry and completed her residency and Master’s degree in Endodontics at UT Health San Antonio under a full scholarship from Onassis Foundation
She is currently an Associate Professor of Endodontics with tenure at UT Health San Antonio, and the predoctoral director for Endodontics
Dr. Chrepa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and received the 2017 AAE Educator Fellowship Award
Her research interests include regenerative endodontics, stem cell biology, endodontic outcomes, and cannabinoids for dental pain
She currently serves as the chair of the AAE Regenerative Endodontics Committee
She is an Editorial Review member for the Journal of Endodontics and International Endodontic Journal among others
Alongside her teaching and research, Dr. Chrepa maintains a private practice limited to Endodontics
