Dear Colleagues, in our next webinar, scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 20:00, Fotini Tsotou, Endodontist, will be covering the topic: “Modern techniques for mechanical root canal preparation for predictable outcomes”. This webinar is a collaboration of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists and the Dental Association of Corinth. Attendees will be credited 1,5 CE credits (MEEO). The language of the webinar will be Greek.
Abstract
A successful root canal treatment requires proper cleaning and shaping of the root canal system, which can be achieved through various techniques and tools. Today, particular emphasis is placed on conservative preparations that help preserve dentin, as well as on the use of new-generation NiTi rotary instruments, which offer greater flexibility, durability, and efficiency.
Through this seminar, participants will learn about different root canal instrumentation techniques and the improvements in the design and metallurgy of modern engine-driven systems. We will discuss how these advancements contribute to predictable clinical outcomes, with a focus on preserving root canal anatomy, applying conservative treatment approaches, and avoiding iatrogenic errors.

Fotini Tsotou
Fotini Tsotou graduated from the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2017. In 2020, she was accepted into the 3-year postgraduate program (MSc) in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Barcelona, Spain, which she completed in 2023, earning her Master’s Degree in Endodontics.
Since 2023, she has been operating her private practice Endocare in Corinth, where she exclusively practices Endodontics.
Throughout her academic and professional career, she has actively participated in national and international conferences as a speaker and presenter. She is a member of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists, the European Society of Endodontology, and the American Association of Endodontists.
