In our next webinar scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 20:00, Endodontist Alexis Charissis will present the topic: “Management of the apical third in root canal treatment”. This webinar is a collaboration of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists and the Dental Association of Ilia. Attendees will be credited 1,5 CE credits (MEEO) as well as 1,5 CPD credits. The language of the webinar will be Greek.
Abstract
The goal of every endodontic treatment is the much-desired apical disinfection and the subsequent three-dimensional sealing of the root canal system.
In this online seminar (webinar), a management method will be analyzed that facilitates the achievement of the above goal.

Alexis Charissis
Dr. Alexis Charisis was born in Athens in 1977. He graduated from the French International School of Athens Eugène Delacroix and then enrolled the Dental School of the University of Athens, Greece from where he graduated in 2000. In 2002 he graduated from the prestigious Postdoctoral Endodontic program of the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, USA.
Since 2002 he has been an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and since 2006 a Regular Partner of the Hellenic Society of Odostomatological Research. He is also a founding member of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists. Upon his return to Greece and until 2008, he worked as Attending Endodontist in the Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Henry Dunant Hospital. Since 2005, he maintains his Specialized Practice limited to Endodontics in downtown Athens.
He has been a Clinical Instructor of both undergraduate and postgraduate Endodontic Clinic at the University of Athens as well as an invited speaker at Dental Conferences throughout Greece. He is involved in the training of dentists by participating in Continuing Education Programs, hands on courses, webinars and live demonstrations of clinical cases.
